Version 0.17.21November 1, 2026

The holidays, and Switch

  • New🎀 The Holiday Lock, November 27 to New Year’s Day: your padlock gift-wrapped, in the wrap you pick (Ribbon, Buffalo Check, Snowfall or Knit). Your wrap colors CageCheck for you too. Rather keep the usual look? Switch it off in Settings.
  • New🏷️ Gift tags: a short note between you and your keyholder, or the people whose keys you hold, on the lock card all season.
  • New🎁 Unwrapped, the holiday game: a gift for each day you check in, from Wrap Day to New Year’s Eve. Ribbons, snowflakes, cold snaps and cocoa, and keyholders can wrap some gifts ahead.
  • NewWrap Day (November 27): check in for a Holiday Box and the Holiday 2026 frame. The Longest Night (December 21) and Midnight on New Year’s Eve each have a badge, and Midnight a 2027 frame.
  • New🌰 No-Nut November Wrapped, from November 27: your November 2 to Thanksgiving, card by card, to look back on and share.
  • New🔁 Switch, a third type next to Locked and Keyholder: have a keyholder of your own and hold other people’s keys too, on one account. Choose it when you join, or any time in Settings → Role.
  • NewEach of a switch’s pairings stands alone: your keyholder never sees anything about the people whose keys you hold, and the other way round. Two switches can hold each other’s keys. See “Being a switch” in Help.

  • New🎬 A 52-second video shows where to find everything in No-Nut November: Squirrel Away, the Keeper, the Raccoon, the Harvest, the Wishbone and the Feast. It’s at the top of the Squirrel Away help article until November 29.

Edit my post

  • New✨ Edit my post (rolling out): CageCheck’s AI tidies up what you wrote and suggests hashtags. When you share to X or Bluesky and your post is too long, it shortens it to fit. You can undo it, and it never posts anything for you.
  • NewHashtag ideas come from a list of tags the community uses, most used on Bluesky this week first. Tap one to add it.
  • NewIt runs on CageCheck’s own server: your post isn’t sent to an outside AI company, and nothing you send it is kept.
  • FixedWhen something can’t be done for a moment (a live video server that’s down, CageCheck being busy, or your lockbox’s company turning a request down), you’re told what happened and what to do, instead of “Something went wrong”.

Choosing from My media on iPhone

  • FixedChoosing from My media on an iPhone or iPad (or in Safari on a Mac) showed your photos squashed into strips, piled on top of each other. They’re a tidy grid of squares again, wherever you choose from it: posts, messages, the Diary, proof and your profile.

No-Nut November: Squirrel Away, the Wishbone and the Harvest

  • NewNo-Nut November, from November 2 to Thanksgiving: CageCheck turns harvest colors, with falling leaves and an acorn for a padlock. It comes on by itself, and you can switch it off in Settings.
  • NewSquirrel Away, in the Game Center: each day you check in, forage once for your stash. Find acorns, golden acorns, wishbones and cozy dens, or a tough nut to crack with a check-in. Check-ins since November 2 count.
  • NewKeep the Raccoon away: a day that ends with your check-in overdue, it raids your stash. Spend acorns to peek at your next card, plead a tough nut down a tier, or reroll one.
  • NewKeyholders are the Keeper: every card the person you hold the keys for forages comes to you first, to let stand, swap or serve seconds, and you can toss them a few acorns a day. Their safeword drops any tough nut, with no penalty.
  • NewThanksgiving: check in for the Thanksgiving Feast badge and the No-Nut November 2026 avatar frame, then bring your stash to the Feast, where every acorn becomes XP. Your Keeper holds the key. Leftovers count until Sunday.
  • NewThe Wishbone, from November 19: you and your keyholder each make a secret wish, then pull it on Thanksgiving weekend. The bigger half’s wish comes true, and every wishbone you found is a better grip.
  • NewThe Harvest: one goal everyone fills together. Each day you check in adds a basket (keyholders: each day you review a check-in photo). If the table’s full by Thanksgiving, everyone who added one gets Harvest Home.
  • NewNew badges: Held Out for checking in every day of No-Nut November, plus Golden Stash, Ready for Winter, Keeper of the Stash and Lucky Break in Squirrel Away.

Getting started videos

  • NewGetting started videos: short narrated tours of what you’ll use most, for locked members and for keyholders, on a phone and on a computer, with captions. Find them in Help → Getting started.
  • NewThe first time you open Home on a phone, and the first time on a computer, your tour opens so you can watch it. It’s shown once on each, and you can close it straight away.

Your keyholder’s powers on one page, check-ins with no signal, and Locktober Wrapped

  • NewPowers: everything your keyholder can do is now a power you give them, on one page you both see (Keyholder → Powers). Change any of it, set your own limits (like the shortest deadline for a task), take it back, or lock it until a date, 90 days at most. Keyholders can ask for more.
  • NewWhen you pair, start from Light, Standard or Total power exchange, and change any power before you send or accept.
  • NewSlow in, fast out: nothing locks in your first week together (locks you choose wait for day 8, when you confirm them), a new lock can be undone for 24 hours, and Ask to stop asks your keyholder to lift one.
  • NewHard limits as a checklist: tick what’s never okay (anything in public, showing your face, spending money…) and tasks and penances that involve it are refused, a missed task’s penance included. Your safeword can say a task or penance crossed one.
  • NewContracts do things now: once you both sign, a contract’s length becomes a minimum lock time, and its check-ins mean no check-ins more often than it says, until its review or end date. Like any new lock, each can be undone for 24 hours.
  • NewA private check-in from CageCheck: if an ask to lift a lock goes unanswered for a week, after a few safewords or emergency unlocks, or when you report your keyholder, we ask if you’re okay. Only you see it, and “I’d like help” opens a conversation with us.
  • NewCheck in with no signal: CageCheck keeps your check-in (and its photo) on your phone and sends it once you’re back online with CageCheck open. It counts from when you took it. Keyholders can choose not to accept them.
  • NewLocktober Wrapped, all through November: your October on CageCheck, day by day, ready to keep or share.
  • NewYour stats, in More: visits to your profile, views of your posts, reactions and comments, how many members you reached, your followers and your top posts, over 7, 30 or 90 days. Totals only, never who looked, and only you see them.
  • NewPost your videos to Bluesky from the share sheet, with your account connected. Bluesky gets each one ready, and you’re told when it’s up.
  • ImprovedCheck-ins and proof on the feed: agreeing locks them for up to 90 days, and Settings shows until when. After that date you can stop them yourself.
  • ImprovedDeleting your account can also delete what CageCheck shared to X and Bluesky for you, and nobody can take your username for 30 days.
  • ImprovedResuming paused tasks and penances: each one-off task and penance has at least 24 hours (more if it had more time left), and repeating tasks pick up again the next day at their usual time. This counts for pauses already running too.

My media, and photos and videos in your diary

  • NewMy media, in More: upload lots of photos and videos at once and keep them on CageCheck, ready to use. Only you can see them.
  • NewUse them wherever you add a photo or video: posts, messages, your profile and gallery, and proof for tasks and penances. Check-ins are still always taken live.
  • NewStorage comes with your plan (1 GB on Player, 50 GB on Player+, 100 GB on Pro), and you can ask for more from My media.
  • NewPhotos and videos in your diary: up to 6 in an entry, from your device, your camera or My media. Your keyholder sees them in the entries you share.

The Game Center, and Trick or Treat for Halloween

  • NewThe Game Center: games tied to your check-ins, in More (or the menu on the left). Earn XP and levels for checking in, achievements, dares and more. Your level shows on your profile.
  • NewTrick or Treat, until Halloween: each day you check in opens a door in a 13-room haunted mansion, with treats, tricks to prove with a check-in, lanterns and a Ghost. Check-ins since October 19 count. Reach the Crypt, then check in by the Last Candle on Halloween night, 8 to 9 PM, for a badge and an avatar frame.
  • NewKeyholders are the Warden: every card the person you hold the keys for draws comes to you first, to let stand, swap or haunt. Their safeword drops any dare, with no penalty.
  • NewMystery Boxes: a box for checking in days in a row, with XP, avatar frames, flair and badges inside. Keyholders can seal a box with a reward of their own.
  • NewAvatar frames and flair: wear what you collect, on your avatar and by your name, everywhere on CageCheck.

Taps that answer at once, and lighter photo uploads

  • ImprovedReactions on posts and in chats, and Follow buttons, change the moment you tap them, even on a slow connection.
  • ImprovedPhotos you send in chats, and proof photos from your library, are shrunk on your phone before they go up: much quicker on a slow connection, same quality on screen.
  • ImprovedPhotos taken with the in-app camera are a little smaller, so check-ins send faster.

A faster CageCheck

  • ImprovedPages you’ve opened before show straight away and update quietly, instead of loading every time you switch tabs.
  • ImprovedThe app is smaller and comes compressed, so it downloads less and starts sooner, especially on a phone connection.
  • ImprovedPeople you may know loads in a blink, however big the community gets.
  • ImprovedSmoother scrolling on phones, and photos in the feed keep their space while they load, so the page doesn’t jump.
  • ImprovedCheck-in lists show small previews, so a keyholder’s view of a long lock opens faster. Tap one for the full photo.
  • ImprovedTyping in a long chat is smoother.
  • ImprovedIf CageCheck is updated while you have it open, it reloads itself when needed instead of showing a blank screen.
  • FixedSending proof for a missed task, then being asked to redo it, no longer issues a second penance.
  • FixedYour safeword works on a missed task after you’ve sent late proof, too.
  • FixedMaking a task private also takes down its penance’s proof posts, and keeps its “completed a task” post between you and your keyholder.
  • FixedPosting achievements count only the posts you write yourself, not check-ins Post my check-ins puts up for you.
  • FixedShare starts with Post with your account only when that connection still works. An expired one says Reconnect in Settings.

Posting to Bluesky and X from your account comes first again

  • ImprovedWith your X or Bluesky account connected, Share starts with Post with your account, already picked, so CageCheck posts it for you, photos included. The buttons that open X or Bluesky with your text are now called Open X and Open Bluesky.
  • FixedVideo posts: you can post their text with your connected account again.
  • FixedYour profile photo shows in front of your profile cover again.

Survive the Haunting, and a stronger safety net

  • NewHalloween week: earn the limited Survived the Haunting badge by checking in every day Oct 25 to 31.
  • ImprovedEmergency unlock now pauses your tasks and penances for 72 hours, so nothing comes due while you look after yourself. You can resume them sooner, and only you can.
  • ImprovedYour safeword works on a missed task too: it declines the task and the penance it issued, with no penalty.
  • ImprovedIf your account is on hold (confirming your email, new terms or an ID check), you can still use your safeword, end your pairing or block someone. Nothing counts as missed meanwhile, or for 24 hours after, so you can catch up.
  • ImprovedEnding a pairing can also unfollow them, remove them from your followers and turn off Post my check-ins, in the same step.
  • ImprovedA penance redo always gives you at least 12 hours.
  • ImprovedNo pile-ups: a member can have at most 10 open penances and 20 open tasks from their keyholder. Automatic penances past that aren’t issued, and repeating tasks wait.

Check-ins and proof on the feed, private tasks, and share anything

  • NewPost my check-ins: every check-in photo and video goes on your feed, for your followers or all members, blurred until tapped. Your past check-ins go up too, at the dates you took them.
  • NewPost a check-in later, from History or from its “checked in” post. Check-in videos can go on the feed too.
  • NewKeyholders can require check-ins on the feed. Once you agree, only your keyholder can let you stop. You can always delete a single post.
  • NewProof on the feed: with your agreement, your keyholder can post the task and penance proof they accept on your feed. Once you agree, only they can lift it, and you can always delete a single post.
  • NewBoth can be part of a contract: signing it is agreeing.
  • NewPrivate tasks, just between you two: nothing about them goes to your followers, and both your feeds show them with a Private badge.
  • NewTasks on chosen days: for example Mondays and Fridays by 9 PM, in the member’s own time zone.
  • NewSend several photos and videos together as proof for a task, up to 6.
  • NewTasks in the feed: “completed a task from your keyholder”, at most one every 3 hours. A penance for a missed private task only says it was for a private task.
  • NewShare any of your own posts, videos and activity included. Share anywhere uses your phone’s share sheet, or opens X or Bluesky with your text, with nothing to connect. You can add your invite link.
  • ImprovedSwipe down to close sheets on your phone, from the top of the sheet or its handle.

Previews for every X link

  • ImprovedA link to an X post that X won’t show outside X (age-restricted, deleted, or from a protected account) now gets a card that says whose it is and why, with Open on X, instead of nothing.
  • ImprovedLinks to X profiles show the @name.
  • FixedLinks in older posts that didn’t get a preview are looked at again.

Questions in lives, and events you can share anywhere

  • NewTake questions in your live: viewers ask and vote, and you put one on screen to answer it. Everyone watching sees it across the top of the video.
  • NewWatching a live that takes questions? Tap Questions to ask the host something, or vote for the questions you want answered.
  • NewIf you record your live, a question you put on screen is in the recording too.
  • NewShare a live event anywhere: turn on Share it publicly for a link with its own page and countdown. Posted on X or Facebook, it shows a preview card with the title and time.
  • NewWhen you go live for a shared event, its page changes to Watch now, and people without an account can watch and ask questions after confirming they’re 18 or older.
  • ImprovedLives for an event take questions from the start.

Post videos without waiting, and Guides

  • NewPost a video without waiting: tap Post while it’s still uploading or getting ready, and carry on using CageCheck. It goes up on its own once it’s ready.
  • NewA “Posting your video” bar shows how it’s going, then “Your post is live”. If it can’t go up, your text comes back so you can try again.
  • NewGuides, starting with Locktober: getting ready, staying safe and staying accountable all month. Find them in the Help Center.
  • ImprovedThe home page and the Help Center open faster.
  • ImprovedLinks to CageCheck shared on X, Bluesky, Reddit or Discord now show a preview card.

Age checks, @followers, and announcements you can read in full

  • NewIn US states whose laws require sites like CageCheck to check members’ age, you’re asked to verify your ID before carrying on, if you haven’t already.
  • NewThat screen names the state and opens the usual ID check. Emergency unlock, your safeword and support always work while you’re on it.
  • NewPut @followers in a post to alert all your followers, or @highlight to alert the ones who engage with you most. Each works once every 12 hours.
  • NewDon’t want those alerts from people you follow? Turn them off in Settings → Push notifications.
  • ImprovedYour ID photos and selfie are now deleted no more than 30 days after your check is decided. Your verified badge stays.
  • ImprovedAnnouncements from the CageCheck team open in full, with headings, lists and links. The alert shows how they start.
  • FixedIn the Help Center, the What’s new card and search results no longer run their words together on one line.
  • FixedTask, penance, diary and challenge cards have their spacing back.

Post a video

  • NewPost a video: record one in CageCheck, or choose one from your phone or computer. Keep up to 2 minutes, trim it, and remove the sound if you like.
  • NewWhen you add a photo or video to a post, you say whether it shows nudity or sexual content. If it does, it’s blurred for members who haven’t chosen to see it.
  • NewNew achievements for posting regularly: post on 7, 30 or 100 different days, or in 4 or 12 weeks in a row. Your achievements page shows how close you are.
  • NewIf you already post often, you get the posting achievements your past posts earned, with one alert that lists them. Nothing is posted in the feed for these.
  • NewIf CageCheck ever needs to check your ID again, the app shows a short Verify my ID screen. Emergency unlock, your safeword and support are always right there.
  • ImprovedMy recordings is now My videos. Videos you haven’t posted wait there for 7 days, along with recordings of your own lives.
  • ImprovedRecordings of your own lives are only blurred if they show nudity or sexual content: you say so when you post them.
  • ImprovedIf your keyholder can’t use CageCheck for a while, you can release yourself straight away, as when they’ve been away a week.

Be right back

  • NewStep away from your live without leaving: tap Be right back (on a phone, tap ✕ first). Your camera and microphone turn off and everyone sees a Be right back screen.
  • NewAdd a note for your viewers, like “Getting a drink”. They see it with your picture and how long you’ve been away, and the chat carries on.
  • NewTap I’m back and your camera and microphone come back on as they were.

Hear when someone joins your live

  • NewWhen you’re live, you hear a soft chime when someone starts watching, and see their name at the top of the video for a few seconds.
  • NewA short tick when someone writes in your live’s chat, so you don’t miss a message while you’re busy on camera.
  • NewSwitch either sound off or on in Viewers. Your choice is kept on each device, and they start off in Discreet mode.

Group chats, contracts, and letting followers add time

  • NewGroup chats: start a group of up to 20 people from New message → New group. You can invite anyone your messages already reach, and they join when they accept.
  • NewGroup invites wait in your Requests, with the group’s name, who invited you and who’s in it. Nobody is told if you decline.
  • NewGroups take messages, photos and video messages, reactions and unsend. Group admins can add and remove people, rename the group and turn on disappearing messages.
  • NewContracts: write down what you and the other person in your pairing agreed to, from a Locktober, Lock, Keyholding or Submissive template, or a blank page.
  • NewSign a contract by typing your name. Every change is a new version you both sign, so you always know which one is in force.
  • NewDownload or print a contract, and add a review date to be reminded to talk it through. Either of you can end it at any time, and it never limits emergency unlock or your safeword.
  • NewLet followers add time: while a lock game timer runs, people who follow you can add 15 minutes, an hour or 6 hours from your profile, up to a total you choose.
  • NewYou see who added what, and can lower the total or turn it off any time. Each follower can add up to 6 hours a day, and your keyholder can switch it off.
  • ImprovedHelp: new articles on group chats, contracts and letting followers add time.

Record your lives, video check-ins, and a line to CageCheck

  • NewRecord your own live: tap Record while you’re the only one on camera (up to an hour). Everyone watching sees REC, and nobody else can come on camera until you stop.
  • NewLive → My recordings: watch, trim and post your recordings to the feed, blurred until tapped. Anything you don’t post is deleted after 7 days.
  • NewPlayer+ and Pro can download their live recordings.
  • NewVideo check-ins: when a check-in needs a photo, record a video instead, up to 30 seconds (2 minutes on Player+ and Pro). It’s stamped like a photo.
  • NewVideo messages in chats, up to 2 minutes, kept 7 days and never downloadable. Sending or watching one needs a verified ID.
  • NewCageCheck Support: ask a question, report a bug or share an idea from Help, Settings or the pinned row in Messages, with a screenshot if you like. Answers come back in the same conversation.
  • ImprovedVideo messages left after a missed call now only need the caller to be verified. Someone without a verified ID verifies to watch them.
  • ImprovedCageCheck now tidies up files nothing uses any more (left behind after deletions), with a 2-day safety wait before anything is removed.

Voice and video calls, and messages when nobody answers

  • NewCall people from your chat with them: the phone for a voice call, the camera for video. You can call your keyholder, the people you hold, your family, people who follow you, and anyone who’s accepted your messages.
  • NewCalls start as voice, which doesn’t need a verified ID. Video needs both of you to have one. When someone calls, answer with voice or with video.
  • NewTurn on video during a call. If you haven’t verified yet, the ID check opens right there while the call keeps going, and video comes on as soon as you’re verified.
  • NewCalls show up in your chat (“Voice call · 12 min”, “Missed video call”) with Call back.
  • NewChoose who can call you in Settings → Messages → Calls: anyone who can message you, only your keyholder, the people you hold and family, or nobody. And when someone turns their camera on, their video only shows once you tap Show video (or turn yours on).
  • NewNobody answered? Leave a voice message, or a video message when you’re both verified, of up to a minute. It goes in your chat like a voicemail.
  • ImprovedOpening a call from its notification shows who’s calling, with Decline, Voice and Video, and CageCheck now rings when it’s open (not in Discreet mode).
  • ImprovedThe automatic ID check is now called IDCheck, and it’s marked Beta.
  • ImprovedHelp: Voice and video calls is rewritten, and Private messages and Verify your ID are updated.

Get verified in seconds, right where you need it

  • NewAn automatic ID check: it reads the barcode on the back of your driver’s license or the lines on your passport, and compares your selfie with your ID photo. If everything checks out, you’re verified in a few seconds.
  • NewIt runs on CageCheck’s own servers. Nothing goes to any other company, and the face measurements are thrown away right after the check. It asks for your consent first, and you can always choose to have a person check your ID instead.
  • NewIt never turns anyone down by itself: anything it can’t confirm is flagged for a person to review.
  • NewVerify right where you need it: going live, hosting an event, sending photos, sharing check-in photos and more now open the ID check on the spot, and carry straight on once you’re verified.
  • NewTerms of Service, an Acceptable Use Policy and a Content and Model Release that every member agrees to, and a Biometric Data Notice for the automatic check. Read them any time from Settings or the home page.
  • ImprovedIf you joined before, you’ll be asked to accept the terms the next time you open CageCheck. Emergency unlock is right there on that screen if you need it.
  • ImprovedHelp: Verify your ID is rewritten, and there’s a new Terms and policies article.

Events, polls, check-in photos in the feed, and finding a keyholder

  • NewEvents: host a live at a set time, or a meetup in person (a bar night, a munch, coffee). Find them under Events, say you’re going or interested, and get a reminder the day before and an hour before.
  • NewIn person, everyone sees the city or area, but the exact place can be kept for the people going, and hosts can approve who comes. Only the host and the people going see who’s going.
  • NewA live event’s host goes live from the event page, and everyone coming is told. Add any event to your calendar with one tap.
  • NewPolls: tap 📊 Poll when you write a post, give 2 to 4 options and choose how long it runs. Votes are anonymous, and you see the results once you’ve voted.
  • NewShare your check-in photos on the feed, for your followers or all members, when you check in. They’re blurred until tapped and show your day count and your keyholder’s review. It’s your choice every time (with a default in Settings), and it needs a verified ID and the in-app camera.
  • NewLooking for a keyholder? Say so on the Keyholder page, with a short note. Keyholders can say they’re open to new members. Browse both lists in Find members.
  • NewA Get the app page with clear steps for iPhone, Android and Samsung, and a gentle reminder in your phone’s browser to put CageCheck on your home screen.
  • ImprovedThe home page shows each feature with a screenshot you can swipe through.
  • ImprovedNew Help articles: Check-in photos in the feed, Find a keyholder, Events and Host an event, and polls in The feed and your posts.

Lockboxes (Beta): CageCheck can keep your code, or open your smart box

  • NewWhen you start a lock, you can say how it’s locked: the honor system, your keyholder has the key, or (once they’re switched on) a combination lockbox, a timer box or a smart lockbox.
  • NewCombination lockboxes (Beta): CageCheck makes a code for your box and shows it once, or keeps a photo of your scrambled dials. Either way it’s revealed when you’re released.
  • NewAn optional time capsule: a file you keep that opens to your code at your maximum lock time, even if CageCheck is down.
  • NewSmart lockboxes (Beta): link an R+D Chastity Lockbox, TTLock or igloohome key box in Settings → Devices. Releases unlock the box or give you a one-time code.
  • NewEvery Beta lockbox asks for a fail-safe you can always reach and a maximum lock time, and emergency unlock always gives you your code or opens your box straight away.
  • NewAfter a lock ends, your code stays on Home for 3 days and in your History.
  • NewKeyholders can check a photo of your dials is readable. Every look is logged, and you can see the log.
  • NewIf your keyholder hasn’t been on CageCheck for a week, you can release yourself.
  • ImprovedGetting out is never paused: emergency unlock works on the “account paused” screen, and if an account with a lockbox lock is ever suspended, the lock ends and the way out is emailed to its owner.
  • ImprovedYour History shows how each lock was locked, and two new endings: “Maximum time reached” and “Released myself (keyholder away)”.
  • ImprovedNew Help articles: How your lock is locked, Combination lockboxes, Smart lockboxes, If your keyholder is away, and Lockboxes for keyholders.

Live penances for everyone to see, and a new Help Center

  • NewKeyholders can now require a penance to be done live on CageCheck, in front of your followers or all members, as well as on a private call.
  • NewYou can choose to do any penance live, just for fun, even when it wasn’t required.
  • NewViewers only see what your penance is if you choose to show it. It’s hidden by default.
  • NewLive penance limits: when you pair, or any time after, you can rule out penances on a call, live on CageCheck, in front of all members rather than just your followers, or recorded.
  • NewYour keyholder can’t require anything that goes against your limits, and open penances are adjusted automatically if you change them.
  • NewYou can now record a penance you chose to do live, too.

Live penances on a video call, with recordings you control

  • NewKeyholders can now ask for a penance to be done live on a video call, and either of you can start the call from the penance.
  • NewYour keyholder can accept the penance as done right there on the call.
  • NewA keyholder can ask for a live penance to be recorded. Only your own camera and microphone are recorded, never your keyholder’s.
  • NewRecording only starts after you confirm, and nothing is sent until you tap “Stop & send”.
  • NewIf a recording stops any other way, it waits for you to send or delete it, and it’s deleted after 48 hours if you don’t decide.
  • NewA sent recording becomes private proof for your keyholder, who can accept it or ask for a redo.
  • NewYou can delete any of your recordings at any time, even after sending. Using your safeword stops and deletes a recording in progress.
  • NewYour keyholder can ask to post a recording to the feed, but it’s always your choice: you pick the caption and who sees it, and a no is final.
  • NewPosted videos stay blurred until tapped, can’t be downloaded or shared outside CageCheck, and either of you can take them down at any time.
  • NewThere’s a new urgent report reason for intimate photos or videos shared without consent, and moderators can hide all penance videos at once.
  • ImprovedRecordings save as you go, so a dropped connection only loses a few seconds.

Timed releases that keep your lock running

  • NewKeyholders can now release you for a while, from 2 hours to a week, without ending your lock.
  • NewTime on release counts as locked time, so your streak, totals and challenges keep going, and nothing is due until it ends.
  • NewTap “Lock back up” to end a release, even early, with a photo that counts as a check-in for your keyholder to review.

Messages, snaps and membership plans

  • NewMessages: chat one-to-one with other members, with photos, reactions, unsend and “Seen”.

  • NewAsk your keyholder to skip an upcoming check-in, or to excuse a missed or late one, with a reason.
