Family on your profile
Add partners and the people you belong to as family, confirm a link, choose a title, and show or hide it on your profile.
Family lets you show your partners and the people you belong to on your profile, a bit like listing family on other social apps. Each link has a title, like Partner, Co-Dom or pup, and the other person confirms it before it shows.
Some titles can also carry powers over a locked member's check-ins, if their keyholder agrees. See Family powers and watching over.
Add a family member
You can add people who follow you.
- Open Family: in Settings → Profile & privacy, tap Family. Or tap + Add family (or Edit) in the Family section of your profile.
- Tap + Add.
- Search your followers and tap Choose next to the person.
- Pick a title (for example, "Sam is your… Co-Dom").
- Tap Add as Co-Dom (the button shows the title you picked).
They get an alert to confirm. Until they do, you'll see "Waiting for them to confirm". You can have up to 20 family members.
Titles
The title list has two groups:
- Can approve your check-ins (with your keyholder's OK): Dom, Domme, Co-Dom, Alpha, Owner, Sir, Mistress, Master, Daddy and Mommy. These titles can carry powers over check-ins.
- Other: Partner, Spouse, Play partner, Handler, Friend, Sibling, pup, pet, sub and more. These are for your profile only.
You can also choose Something else… and type your own title (up to 24 characters: letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and apostrophes). Your own titles are for your profile only.
When someone adds you
You get an alert, and your Family page shows them under Waiting for you, like "Riley added you as their Co-Dom". Tap Confirm or Decline. They don't get an alert if you decline.
Once you confirm, the link shows on both profiles: "Sam · Co-Dom" on Riley's, and "Co-Dom to Riley" on Sam's. Members can see the family on your profile, except people you've blocked or who blocked you.
Change, hide or remove
- Someone you added: tap ••• next to them. You can change the title (Save title), Hide from my profile, or Remove from family.
- Someone who added you: you'll find them under You're in their family. Tap Hide to take it off your profile, or Leave.
Only the person who added you can change your title. Removing or leaving takes the link off both profiles and ends any powers. Either of you can add the other again later. Blocking someone also removes them from your family.
Family and messages
Confirmed family can always message each other, whatever your message settings, and your chats skip Requests. See Private messages.
