Find your way around

The menus on phones, tablets and computers, where your settings are, and where to find Help.

CageCheck works on any phone, tablet or computer. The menus change a little with the size of your screen, but the pages are the same.

On a phone

The bar along the bottom has five tabs:

  • Home: your dashboard. Locked members see their lock timer and check-ins; keyholders see the people they hold.
  • Feed: the community. Go live and anyone who's live right now are at the top.
  • Keyholder (locked members) or Pairing (keyholders and switches): pairing requests, your pairings and their rules.
  • Alerts: your notifications. A number shows how many are new.
  • More: everything else. Your profile is at the top, then your lock pages (Check in, History, Tasks, Penances, Diary) for locked members, Messages, Live, Events, Challenges, Achievements, Family, Find members, Help, What’s new and Settings, and Sign out at the bottom.

At the top of Home and the Feed, the magnifying glass opens Search (find members by name), and the speech bubble opens Messages, with a count of unread chats. See Find members to follow and Private messages.

Cards on Home also open things you have going on, like your tasks, penances, diary and challenges.

On a tablet or computer

A menu runs down the left side. On a tablet it shows icons only.

  • At the top: your picture and name. Click it for Profile, Settings and Sign out.
  • The main list: Home, Feed, Messages, Alerts, Keyholder (or Pairing), Live, Penances, Events and Challenges. Search appears here too when the window is too narrow for the search box.
  • More: everything else: Diary, Tasks and History for locked members, then Family, Help and What’s new.
  • At the bottom: a big Check in button for locked members, or New post for keyholders.

On a wide screen there's also a column on the right with:

  • a Search members box;
  • Live now, when someone is live;
  • Your lock for locked members (the timer, when your next check-in is due, and Check in now), or Needs your attention for keyholders (late check-ins and photos waiting for review). These don't repeat on Home, which already shows them;
  • Members to follow.
