Lock games
Spin a wheel or roll dice for a random lock timer, keep it hidden until it runs out, and see how your keyholder can add time.
A lock game picks a random lock time for you, with a wheel or dice. By default the result stays hidden until it runs out. It's a timer to aim for: it doesn't unlock anything or end your lock by itself.
Play
- While you're locked, find the Lock game card on Home and tap Play.
- Choose 🎡 Wheel or 🎲 Dice.
- Pick a range:
- Wheel: 1–12 hours, 12 hours – 3 days, 1–7 days or 1–4 weeks. The wheel has 8 slots spread across that range.
- Dice: 1 die × days (1–6 days), 2 dice × hours (2–12 hours), 2 dice × days (2–12 days) or 3 dice × hours (3–18 hours).
- Leave Keep the result hidden from me until it runs out ticked for a surprise, or untick it to see your time.
- Tap Spin the wheel or Roll the dice, then Done.
While it runs
The card shows Hidden timer running and when you started, or, if it isn't hidden, your time and when it ends. If your keyholder or your followers added time, the card says so.
You can run one timer at a time. When it's up you get "⏰ Your lock timer is up", and for a day the card shows how long it ran. Once a timer is up or stopped, you can tap Play for a new one.
With a keyholder
Morgan is told when you spin or roll, and always sees the real time, even when it's hidden from you. From your page Morgan can:
- add time: +1 hour, +6 hours, +1 day or +3 days. You're told time was added, but not how much while it's hidden. If it isn't hidden, you're told how much and when it now ends (for example "in 2 days").
- Reveal to them, which shows you the time. You're told when it ends.
A timer can run for up to 30 days in total, including time your keyholder and followers added.
When the timer is up, it doesn't release you. Ask Morgan about unlocking (see Timed release and End a lock). If you're self-managing, you can end your lock whenever you're ready.
Let followers add time
While your timer runs, you can let the people who follow you add time to it too: +15 min, +1 h or +6 h at a time from your profile, up to a total you choose (1 h to 72 h). Each person can add up to 6 hours a day. Find Let followers add time under your timer on Home and tap Turn on. You can lower the total or turn it off whenever you want, and your keyholder can switch it off for your pairing. See Let followers add time.
Stop early
Tap Stop on the card, then Stop the timer. Your lock keeps going; only the game stops. Your keyholder is told. Ending your lock also stops the game.
