Your profile

Set your profile photo, display name, bio, links and photo gallery, and see what other members see on your profile.

Your profile is your page in the community. To open it on your phone, tap More in the tab bar, then your name at the top. On a computer, tap your name at the top of the side menu and choose Profile. Only signed-in members can see profiles.

On your own profile, 📊 Stats opens Your stats: how many members visited your profile and saw your posts. Only you can see your stats.

Edit your profile

  1. On your profile, tap Edit profile. This opens the top of Settings.
  2. Change what you like:
    • Change photo: pick a picture, crop, zoom or rotate it, and tap Save photo. Your profile photo shows everywhere, so keep it non-explicit. Remove takes it off.
    • Display name: up to 40 characters. Leave it empty and people see your @username instead.
    • Bio: up to 1,000 characters. @mentions and web links in your bio become clickable. Long bios are folded behind Show more.
  3. Tap Save profile.

These are in the same form, under your bio:

  • Website: your main site.
  • Links: up to 5 more (a blog, a wishlist, anything). Tap + Add a link, give it a label if you like, and paste the address.
  • Social profiles: tap + Add a social profile, pick the site, and type your username or paste the link to your profile. You can add one each of X, Bluesky, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Reddit, Telegram, YouTube, OnlyFans, Mastodon, FetLife and Recon. For Mastodon, use your full handle (like @name@mastodon.social). For FetLife and Recon, paste the link to your profile.

Tap ✕ to remove one. When you tap Save profile, CageCheck tidies everything up and tells you if something needs fixing.

The profile form in Settings

The Photos tab on your profile is a gallery other members can browse.

  1. Open your profile and tap Photos.
  2. Tap + Add photos and pick one or more pictures. If you keep photos in My media, you choose from there, or tap Choose from your device.
  3. For one photo: crop it, add a caption if you like, tick 🔞 Contains nudity — blur for other members if it applies, and tap Add photo. For several: add captions, tap 🔞 Contains nudity or ✂ Crop on each one, then tap Add 3 photos (or however many you picked).

You can have up to 12 photos on Player and 36 on Player+ and Pro. Tap one of your photos to change its nudity setting or tap Delete photo.

What other members see

  • Your photo, display name and @username, with a ✓ if your ID is verified.
  • Badges: Founding Member for the first members, Founder and Admin for the CageCheck team, and your plan (Player+ or Pro). You can hide the plan badge with Show my Player+ badge (or Pro) in Settings.
  • Challenge trophies and your achievements (see Achievements).
  • Your bio, website, links and social profiles.
  • 🔒 Locked or 🗝 Keyholder, and the month you joined.
  • How long you've been locked, or for keyholders, how many people they hold keys for.
  • Your Following and Followers counts, and your Family.
  • Your posts, including activity, and your photo gallery.
  • A LIVE tag on your photo while you're live.

To hide how long you've been locked, turn off Show my lock streak on my profile under Profile & privacy in Settings. Your keyholder can always see it.

On someone else's profile

You'll see Follow (see Following and followers), Message if they accept messages from you, and Request as keyholder or Offer to hold their key if you could pair. Follows you appears next to their @username if they follow you. Tap ••• at the top to report or block them (see Privacy and safety).
